Both Megan Thee Stallion, wearing Moschino, and Cardi B, who came with Donatella Versace in a muscle vehicle, were dripping in gold. Cardi B was wearing a Versace gown that took 20 people and more than a month to produce. Megan Thee Stallion was wearing Versace earrings Lizzo, who was dressed in Thom Browne, arrived at the event carrying a gold flute to ensure that the evening started on the proper note.
Other stars who brought the elegance of the Gilded Age back into the spotlight: Billie Eilish embraced the style of the century in her corseted Gucci gown, and Sarah Jessica Parker also stepped back in time in a black-and-white Christopher John Rogers ballgown that honoured the first Black female designer to the White House, Elizabeth Hobbes Keckley. Both Billie Eilish and Sarah Jessica Parker wore their dresses to the 2018 Grammy Awards.
