As we know sweet corn a has many health-beneficial properties. Corn contains fiber and Vitamin B which is very good for our health. Corn also provides essential minerals to your body like zinc, magnesium, and many others minerals.

So let’s know how to make sweet corn in 5 different ways.

1. Basil and Feta Corn Salad: Sweet Corn Recipe

Corn salad is some of the best summer food recipes. Let’s know which ingredients are needed to make this recipe and how to make this recipe. This sweet corn recipe is healthy and very good in taste.

Ingredients

  • 5 cup fresh corn
  • ¼ cup crumble feta
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onions
  • ¼ cup finely chopped basil
  • 3tbsp virgin olive oil
  • 1 lime juice 
  • Kosher salt for taste
  • 1tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 cup cherry tomato

How to Make Basil and Meta Corn Salad?

  2. Steam the corn for a while before using it in the salad.
  3. Take a big bowl and add all ingredients together. Season the ingredients with salt and pepper for taste. You can add chili if you like spice.

2. Shrimps Succotash and Summer Sweet Corn Recipe

Ingredients

  • ¾ pound jumbo shrimp
  • 3 ears fresh corn kernels
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped dill
  • 2 tbsp fresh fat sour cream
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh tarragon
  • 2 tbsp butter 
  • 3 garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup unsalted chicken stock
  • 2 minced shallots
  • ½ tsp hot sauce
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 cup green bean cut into 1 inch
  • 3 cups shelled fava beans unsalted
  • 8 cup water

How to Make Shrimps succotash and Summer Corn?

  1. First, peel and devein shrimp shells. Set shrimp aside.
  2. Let heat a saucepan into medium flame. Add 1 tbsp oil, add Shrimp shells and sauté them for 5 minutes. Add chicken stocks and let it boil until the liquid reduces to 1/2 cup. This boil corn recipe will make your day. So just follow the steps.
  3. Strain the liquid into a bowl, removes the shells. 
  4. Fill a large bowl into ice water and bring 8 cups of water into a large pot and boil it. Add fava beans to the pot and cook for 1 minute. Remove the beans from the water and dip them into ice-cold water. Cool it completely.
  5. Remove the tough outer shell of fava beans. Add green beans into the water to boil. When boiling is done put the green beans into ice water and let them cool completely.
  6. Take a large skillet and heat it into medium flame. Add 1 tbsp butter and remaining oil. Add shallot and garlic sauté for 2 minutes. Add corn and sauté. Add shrimps, salt, reserved shrimps liquid. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add beans (fava and green), butter, dill, hot sauce, and tarragon. Again cook for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Remove the when shrimps are done. Add black pepper powder and sour cream and stir.

3. Mexican Corn Salad: Sweet Corn Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 ear corns
  • Kosher salt
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 lime juice
  • 1 tbsp chili powder for cook 
  • 2tbsp chopped cilantro and more for garnish
  • ¼ cup cotija cheese or feta for the cook, more for garnish.

How to Make Corn Salad?

  1. Cut corn kernel off the cob, with a help of a sharp knife. Bring shimmer ½ cup water into a skillet with salt. Add corn and cover the skillet and cook until the corn boils perfectly.
  2. Remove the water and let the corn pat dry. In a large bowl add corn, cotija, cilantro, chili powder, lime juice, salt, and mayonnaise. Toss them together.
  3. Garnish with cotija, chili powder, and here is ready Mexican corn salad for serve.

4. Baked Corn Casserole: Sweet Corn Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ cup ground cornmeal
  • ¼ cup normal sugar
  • 2/3 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 2 cup frozen corn, defrosted and drains
  • Kosher salt
  • ½ tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp chives for garnish
  • 2 can cream corn
  • ¼ cup heavy cream

How to Make Baked Corn Casserole? 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and take a medium baking dish and coated with butter inside.
  2. Mix cornmeal and butter until smooth, into a large bowl. 
  3. Add sugar, milk, eggs and heavy cream, whisk them well.
  4. Fold in creamed corn and corns and season with pepper, paprika, and salt.
  5. Pour the mixture into the baking plate and bake it for 1 hour, uncovered.
  6. Let it cool for 7 minutes before serving.

5. Grilled Cream Corn: Sweet Corn Recipe

Grilled Corn

Ingredients

  • 6 ears shucked corn 
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  •  2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • Kosher salt for taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
  • ¼ cup shredded Monterey jack
  • Black pepper powder

How to Make Grilled Cream Corn?

  1. Preheat grill. Grill corn for 10 minutes, until the kernels slightly soften and charred.
  2. Cool it at room temperature and off the corn cobs and set it aside.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet into a medium flame. Add 1 tbsp flour and whisk it until bubble. Add milk, Monterey Jack, and cream cheese and cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Add corn kernels and toss to coat. Add salt and black pepper powder for taste.
  5. Garnish with cilantro and enjoy the dish.
